terms
My terms are the most important to be understood. I will not agree to a commission without the assumption you agree to my terms, and my terms are not to be negotiated. Please ask any questions you need.
1. By commissioning me, you automatically agree to these terms. If you don't read the following terms, I'll still be forced to assume that you have, and you will be held to them regardless of whether you did or did not. These are the contractual terms of our exchange, you will not violate them, or you will be subject to consequences.
1a. You are not liable to be held to any future changes to my terms that take place after your payment, and I will never hold you to unforeseeable circumstances.
2. You must be at least 18 years old to commission me. I will not take commissions from minors for any reason, even if you have the means, period. I will not be held accountable for fraudulent charges. I will warn other artists if I find out you are lying about your age to me.3. Please speak in clear and straightforward English. Please don't be inappropriate with me, this is my business.
3a. Please be patient with me. I am autistic, this may affect my comprehension or tone. I may ask a lot of questions throughout the process to ensure I am doing what you like.3b. If I do not respond quickly, please understand that I may be dealing with my real life, but I almost always respond within a day or so. If not, feel absolutely free to nudge again, I won't be annoyed! My time estimates for completing your request should rarely change.3c. If you have any questions or concerns at all, please do not hesitate to ask me! If you aren't sure whether I can do something, just ask. If I seem to be busy/away, I will respond ASAIC.
4. I have the right to decline any request without explanation. I do not owe you anything that you have not paid for. Sometimes my reasoning is for criteria that personally affects my mental health, it isn't a personal gripe!5. My prices and terms are non-negotiable. I do not take free requests or "for exposure." The payment is to be made in full and upfront.6. I do not do refunds for any reason. Once the money is given to me, it's my property.
6a. In the event of a serious emergency in my personal life, I will make it clear to you that I cannot finish the commission and will refund you in full. If I decide I cannot complete your commission for any reason, I will refund you in full. I am not required to explain my reasons to you. Emergencies will likely be the only reason this will ever happen.6b. In the event of a serious emergency in your life, I am not at all obligated to return money to you for any reason. I will always do my best to maintain contact and finish your commission regardless of your responses, but I will not refund for your personal reasons. You have no right to demand a refund of me unless I do not complete the work.
7. Please adhere to my process. I will not work without upfront payment, this is non-negotiable.8. Please be as detailed as you possibly can with your request! If you have any specific items, headcanons, details, or other requirements at all, I must be informed of them. I would prefer an abundance rather than a shortage!
8a. If you are requesting an OC, please provide clear, coloured, detailed references for me to use. I will not draw or design an OC from scratch. I may decline your request if insufficient references are supplied.
9. You may never remove my signatures from the piece or claim my art as your own work. You may not trace my WIPs and claim them as your own. You may not edit my work without permission. I will file takedowns for stolen property.
9a. You are not obligated to explicitly credit my work when you share it, though it is very much appreciated! Simply crediting "notxon" is cool with me!9b. You are free to share completed work as you please. However, you may not use my art in for-profit merchandise or reproduce my art in any way for your profit. Personal prints/items are totally fine, but you may never make money off of my art or resell it to anyone else.9c. In turn, I am also free to use my work as I please. I am free to post your work where and when I want, or use it for advertising. If I so wanted, I am free to make money off of my own art. You do not have the right to claim my art or disallow me from using it.9d. You may, however, request that I never share the art anywhere besides yourself, and I will almost certainly agree. It's likely that if the art shows something I personally don't indulge in, I simply won't share it anywhere, and the publicity of the art is up to you alone.
10. When requesting NSFW content, please keep in mind that I may have personal boundaries that should not be interpreted as shaming or discrimination. I have the right to refuse any commission if I don't feel comfortable with it. Please acknowledge that the preferences and fetishes of my commissioners do not reflect my own.11. You may request WIPs whenever you'd like in the process! Please understand that my baseline sketches are fairly undetailed, and will be improved after I begin lining. My WIPs will always be watermarked and you may not alter them. You may share them as long as you do not crop out my watermarks.12. Please ask anything you need while I am still in progress. I want to make sure you're happy, and I'm glad to do any adjustments while I'm working if something does not please you.
12a. You may request only one change after I have totally completed the work. I will not do more changes - or change anything that would require me to majorly rework the piece - without additional payment. You may not change my artwork yourself without asking first.
13. I will give you an estimate upfront for when I can finish the art. I do not work on your time schedule. If you have an event you are trying to meet such as a birthday, I will try my best to finish it by the given time, but there are no promises. If you are requesting something very detailed, please understand that it may take longer than simpler requests.14. I only accept payment through the options listed on the contact page. Please respect the personal details of my account and I will respect yours. Never refer to me by any name other than the ones I explicitly use for myself. If you disrespect me, I will never accept a commission from you again, and I will warn other artists of your behaviour.
14a. You may not pay me with bitcoin or any cryptocurrency, no exceptions.14b. NFT and AI "creators" do not interact. If you are intending to use my final product for an NFT or AI training in any way, HARD NO.

Additional characters:
Each additional character will be 180% of the original price (i.e. if it is $20 for one character, it will be $36 for two, a 20% save compared to ordering separately).
This applies to ships but does not apply to requesting multiple pieces of artwork, which must be paid for each in full.
In a single piece, I may request additional payment if the number of characters exceeds what I can do in a timely fashion (> 4, usually).NSFW:

Any kinks/fetishes that dramatically alter the perspective, proportions, or framing of the character may require an additional flat charge of no more than $30 on a case-by-case basis. Be prepared for this fee if asking for specific fetishes, but I will always be fair dependent on circumstances.Comics:
Comics/progressions are not my speciality, but anything that constitutes adding an "additional character" (even the same said character) will be of the same pricing (180% per frame). Each frame/image will be drawn from scratch, offering the same amount of quality as an individual character/image.Backgrounds:

Any flat color, transparent, or basic gradient. I will also gladly do LGBTQ+ flags for icons :)
Simple: +$3 for icon/waist up, +$5 for full body
Water colouring, simple shapes/colour blocks, painted gradients, etc.
Medium: +$10 for waist up, +$15 for full body
Several objects, large lined items, or blurred scenery, but not overly detailed/painted. Average handheld objects/weapons are free of charge.
Complex: +$20 for waist up, +$30 for full body
Will be fully painted, almost as detailed as the characters, and will usually require references.
Emojis:
I only draw emojis in my chibi style, not full style.
I typically draw my emojis on a 256 x 256 px canvas, if you want a different size you must ask ahead of time.
This size works well on Discord/Twitch on both PC/mobile and light/dark mode. Emojis can also be used for other services.Emojis are $7 each. For each added emoji in a set of over 4, a 10% total saving will be added.
(i.e. 5 emojis will be $31 instead of $35, and so on.) This does not apply to reorders, each set has it's own price.
Final products will not have watermarks.
These emojis are custom made and are exclusive to your use only. I have a right to resell emojis if I so choose, but you may request that I don't and I will likely agree. Look at my Etsy page to buy non-exclusive emote packs.

Contact me through the links provided below and send your request, including any details or references needed. Do not shy away from being detailed and asking any questions!
I will respond with a low-detail sketch to ensure you approve of the pose and composition.
After you approve, I will send your calculated payment quote, place to send the payment, and the estimate for how long it may take me to complete.
You will pay the full price upfront. No exceptions.
After I have confirmedly received the payment, I will begin work on the commission. This may often take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on complexity and my personal life. You may ask for any changes or WIPs during this time, and I may ask you any questions as I need them.
Once I have finished the art, I will send the full version immediately to you.
